Change Team:
Practice This Week & 1st Game Sunday
by posted 04/06/2021

Hi Team -

We are very excited to FINALLY more outdoors tomorrow.  Let's all hope for a Spring full of sunny, warm days like today.

Our first outdoor practice is this Wednesday, April 7 from 6-7pm at the Keach/Chestnut Street Field.  It does get cold as the sun goes down so please make sure the girls dress in layers and bring plenty of water.

Coach Chelsea has a work conflict on Thursday so was able to secure additional field time at Frothingham on Saturday, April 10th from 10-11am to make sure we are properly prepared for the game on Sunday.  Please take a moment to reply to this email to let us know your daughter's availability for Thursday and Saturday so we can determine the best practice plan for the remainder of the week.

Our first game is this Sunday, April 11th at 4:15pm on the OA Wall Field.  Please have the girls arrive 30 minutes early and dressed in their white home uniforms.  Goggles, mouth guards and face masks are required by all players and jewelry is not allowed (please remove it at home so it doesn't get lost).  We have been asked to provide gate keepers and time keepers at all home games so please reach out if you are able to assist.

On practice and game days in particular, please keep an eye on your email for any last minute changes that may take place.  The weather can be iffy in the Spring and we have been warned that we may have to shift things around last minute to accomodate the high school athletes.  Hopefully, this won't impact us at Keach but we would prefer to communicate any changes through email. With that said, if you are running late to pick up your daughter or need to get in touch with us for any other reason during practice or on game days, we have listed our cell numbers below.

This team is doing an amazing job on the field and are really supporting each other throughout each practice.  They come ready to give 110% and are working so well together as a team.  Whether they first held a stick 3 years ago or 5 weeks ago, you should all be proud of the progress that has been made so far this season - we sure are!!!

Sunday is going to be awesome.  We can't wait to see their hard work in action and have made cards with a list of each player's name and number so you can cheer them all on from the sidelines.  There will be a lot of substitutions and we will do our best to make sure everyone has equal playing time, in each of the various positions.

As usual, do not hesistate to reach out with any questions or concerns and thanks again for your support.
